The Driving Doctor®, developers of the most advanced driver behaviour feedback and coaching software platform, has gained the coveted BRAKE Fleet Safety Innovation Award for the second successive year. This latest award is further evidence of the quality and effectiveness of the company’s unique driver behaviour road safety product and joins awards the company has achieved over a very short period of time from Business Car and WhatVan? magazines, together with gaining the prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award previously.

The BRAKE Fleet Safety Innovation Award was presented to The Driving Doctor®’s CEO Paul Ripley at a ceremony hosted by the road safety charity in Birmingham on Thursday 19 September. Yet again, the award reflects the company’s single-minded approach to improving road safety through new technology, as well as reducing company costs.

The Driving Doctor®’s product addresses risky and unsafe driver behaviour through an industry unique, data-driven methodology coaching proposition. As examples, drivers are coached to adopt more progressive braking and moderate speed control. These combine to enhance safety and reduce fuel consumption, thereby saving money and reducing the possibility of road accidents, all of which are increasingly being appreciated by fleets and companies alike.

“We are absolutely thrilled to gain this prestigious award for the second year in succession,” said Paul Ripley. “Increasingly, insurers, companies and fleets are embracing The Driving Doctor® product to help keep their drivers safe, together with all other road users, and to reduce their costs. This second BRAKE award is a wonderful gesture of the continuing recognition, appreciation and support of what the company is achieving.”
